12B - The Book

This book was created to reinforce the sight word "see" but works just as well for "I" and "a" , since the repetitive sentence frame above is throughout the book except for a cute surprise on the last page.  There are also rhyming words in the book that are simple enough for rhyming reinforcement.    New vocabulary is supported with picture cues.   The book is created in a full page, portrait format  with expanded text for easier reading.  All text is at the bottom of the page.  The pages are not numbered so that you may arrange them as you choose as long as you keep the rhyming words intact.  (11 pages)

I also created Pocketchart Picture Cards for this book.  It has all the pictures from the book already formatted in the size to fit in your pocketchart.  Just copy the pictures onto cardstock, color, laminate, and cut apart and you're ready to go.  The pocketchart pictures are definite timesavers!
