"Old MacDonald Had A Farm" is the perfect addition to a Farm Unit.  Use it to introduce farm animals to your class while they're practicing their reading skills.  The book was written in a full page, portrait format with easy to read, expanded text.  All text is at the bottom of each page, and all pages except the first and last page follow the sentence format above.  All text is supported by picture clues and the pages are not numbered.  Sight words used are:  he, had, a, old, and, that, on, cat, dog.  I'm excited about getting to use this book this year with my class. :)  (11 pages)
