Another cute book!  And it also has some great artwork in it.  It was created to be part of a  Christmas Unit.  The text format of this book loosely follows the same sentence pattern as in the sample page above except for the last page.   New vocabulary is supported by picture cues. The book is created in a full page, portrait format  with expanded text for easier reading.  Sight words used are: the, was, were, on, by, with, under, in, made.  All text is at the bottom of the page.  The pages are not numbered.  (11 pages)

I am also creating Pocketchart Picture Cards for this book.  It will have all the pictures from the book already formatted in the size to fit in your pocketchart.  Just copy the pictures onto cardstock, color, laminate, and cut apart and you're ready to go.  The pocketchart pictures are definite timesavers!
